Visiting the website, server log files

By visiting and using our website we collect data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called „server log files“). We collect only data that is technically necessary for us to display the website to you such as date and time at the time of access, amount of data sent in bytes, source/reference from which you accessed the site, browser used, operating system used, and IP address used (if necessary: in anonymous form).

The processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the user friendliness, stability and functionality of our website. The data will not be passed on or used in any other way. However, we reserve the right to subsequently check the server log files if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

Cookies

To make your visit to our website user-friendly and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your user end device.

Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your user end device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).

If cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information such as browser and location data as well as IP address to an individual extent. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which can vary depending on the cookie.

If personal data is processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR either for the execution of the contract or according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visited.

Please note that you can set your browser in a way that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. Please note that if cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the relevant consents.

IONOS web hosting

The website is provided (hosted) by a service from IONOS. The operator of this online service is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur; hereinafter referred to as “IONOS”. Information on how IONOS processes personal data can be found at https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy/#c67.

Google Fonts

For the uniform display of fonts, the website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/), 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA); hereinafter referred to as „Google“. In case you request a web page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browsers cache to display text and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, your browser must connect to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address. If you are logged into your Google account at the same time, it is possible that Google can assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Google account. Google does not provide us with more detailed information about the exchange of data between your browser and Google. Google is solely responsible for ensuring that the data is treated in accordance with data protection regulations.

You can find more information on how to handle user data in Google’s data protection declaration at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. You can find information on Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com /fonts/faq.

Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offering. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer instead.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies, which enable analysis of your usage of our website. The information generated by the cookies about your usage of our website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on this website. On behalf of brictric e.U., Google will use this information to evaluate your usage of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. We point out that in this case our website may not provide all functions in full.

You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de“>http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Duration of storing personal data

The duration of storing personal data is based on the respective statutory safe-keeping period (e.g., commercial and tax retention periods). As soon as this period has expired, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted if they are no longer required to fulfill or initiate a contract and/or we have no legitimate interest in further storing them.

Your rights as an affected person

Due to legal basis, you have the right of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can contact the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
